I am writing this letter to you today to commend the efforts of two of your employees, Ryan and Ronnie, who work in your Avon, CT facility.
Yesterday, I brought my grandmothers 2002 Crown Victoria to the Avon facility for an exterior and interior cleaning. As the car exited the wash, I noticed that your crew was pushing the car vs. driving it. When I went over to check, Ryan immediately came over and let me know that the car wouldn‚t start once it left the wash. He then proceeded to request a battery/ jump. Unfortunately the car still wouldn‚t start, even with a jump. He then called for Ronnie to come and assist as well. Both Ronnie and Ryan proceed to work for over 15 minutes trying to ascertain the reason for the car‚s failure to start. Unfortunately despite repeated efforts, checking under the hood, checking fuses, etc. they could not find a solution.​​
​​At that point, given that it was a Sunday afternoon, I asked whether I could leave the car in a safe location overnight until I could arrange for a tow truck to take the car to a local Ford dealership. Ryan and Ronnie immediately gathered a crew so
that the car could be pushed to a safe parking space.
​This morning, when I returned to your facility with the tow truck, we discovered that the reason why the car would not start yesterday was because the fuel pump switch in the trunk (who knew there was such a thing?) had been turned off by the vibration of the conveyer belt.  After turning the switch, the car started right up again. Ronnie then offered to have the car re-washed at no charge, as there were fingerprints all over the hood and trunk from the ​pushing, as well as pollen from the trees.​
As someone who also works in a customer-centric field, I was extremely impressed by the level of service provided by Ryan and Ronnie. They were both extremely courteous, highly professional and did everything that they could to assist me.
Please rest assured that you now have a customer for life as a result of the extra care and effort provided by these two
gentlemen.
